EPA Scrap Tire Grant and Other Academic Institution Grants
Governments, non-profits, public and private K-12 schools, colleges, and universities can apply for funding to support beneficial-use projects incorporating ground tire rubber. Other Academic Institution Grants are also available through the Ohio EPA. Potential projects may include:Potential projects may include:
- Rubber playground surfaces
- Track surfaces
- Rubber flooring and other flooring solutions
- Other projects that beneficially reuse scrap tire materials
Scrap Tire Grants require a 100% match, and grantees have up to 24 months to complete their projects.
