OSC Launches Abatement Services Program to Support Member Needs

New two-part initiative will provide both abatement contracting and expert consulting services, with additional details coming soon.

Based on member feedback and identified needs, the OSC initiated a competitive bidding process for abatement and environmental services. The selected program is designed as a two-fold offering, providing both abatement contracting services and professional consulting support. This approach ensures members have access to qualified contractors for project execution while also receiving expert guidance on planning, regulatory compliance, and best practices related to abatement projects.

The program includes services related to asbestos abatement, lead abatement, mold remediation, and other hazardous materials abatement, as well as air quality. These services help members safely manage building materials and environmental conditions while maintaining compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.

As part of the consulting services, members also have access to environmental support such as site assessments, planning, environmental testing, water testing, and related services, which may be required to support facility planning and regulatory compliance.

Additional details about the program, including participating vendors, the full scope of services, and how members can access these resources, will be shared in the coming weeks.
