OSC Welcomes Michael Ptacek to Support New School Door Inspection Program and Other Inspection Services
Veteran school administrator brings 33 years of experience to support OSC's comprehensive safety program.
The OSC is excited to welcome Michael Ptacek, who will assist Tim DelVecchio, OSC’s Lead School Safety Services Consultant, in launching a new School Door Inspection Program. This critical initiative will help schools meet the state requirement, as set forth by Ohio SB112 for annual door inspections by a qualified inspector for all exterior and fire doors by April 2026.
With 33 years of service in the North Olmsted City School District, Michael brings deep expertise in school operations and leadership. His career included key administrative roles such as District Business Services Director and Athletic Director, making him a strong asset to this important safety effort.
