2nd-Annual Fresh Perspectives Food Service Conference

After a flavorful and inspiring debut in 2025, the Fresh Perspectives Food Service Staff Conference is returning for its second year. The event will take place on June 5, 2026, at CVCC (Cuyahoga Valley Career Center).
The first conference, held at Garfield Community Learning Center in Akron, brought together nearly 180 school food service professionals from 48 school districts. Participants engaged in hands-on workshops that covered knife skills, scratch cooking techniques, menu planning, and team-building activities. The event was packed with energy, fresh ideas, and practical tools to support healthier and more innovative school nutrition programs.
This year’s conference will build on that momentum with expanded sessions, live culinary demonstrations, and valuable opportunities for networking. It will continue to highlight the critical role food service staff play in supporting student health, learning, and well-being.
