Door Inspections

Ohio’s Childhood Safety Act mandates annual inspections of “protective door assemblies” in school buildings, as specified in Ohio Revised Code Section 3737.07 and 3781.106 and defined by the NFPA 101 – Life Safety Code. These inspections ensure that doors with panic hardware, fire exit hardware, special locking arrangements, and those in exit enclosures meet safety standards, with reports due to the school governing authority and local fire marshal. We’ve got you covered.
