EPA Source Reduction Grant
This grant provides funding for governments, non-profits, and K-12 public and private schools, colleges and universities to purchase equipment promoting reuse practices. Eligible entities may request up to $10,000 with no required match to purchase equipment that reduces reliance on single-use products. Potential projects include:
- Water bottle refilling stations
- Dishwashers and reusable-service equipment
- Hand dryers
- Other equipment promoting reuse and source reduction
Installation, maintenance and labor costs are not eligible and must be covered by the eligible entity.
Application Window: September 14 – November 6, 2026
Awards Announced: April 1, 2027
