OSC Spring Bus Bid (2024)

The Ohio Schools Council is in the process of preparing for the Spring 2024 School Bus and Van bids, scheduled for purchases between May and October 2024, with deliveries expected between 180 and 480 days from the purchase date. The School Bus and Van bids are due by Monday, May 6, 2024.

You are invited to participate in the OSC’s Spring 2024 Cooperative School Bus and Van Purchasing Program, with no cost to participate.

To participate, please complete the following by March 22, 2024:

  1. Complete the online OSC Spring Bus and Van Bid Survey.  Link to Survey
  2. Download, complete, and return the Trade-in Form in Excel format.  Link to Trade-in Form
  3. Pass a Board Resolution for OSC to advertise and receive School Bus and Van bids on your behalf.  Link to sample resolution
  4. Email a copy of the Board-approved Resolution to krocco@osconline.org

Upon receipt of bids, OSC will create a side-by-side comparison by bus size and type and distribute it to the district contact person and Treasurer by Friday, May 13, 2024.

For districts seeking to purchase buses before May, the OSC November 3, 2023 Bus Bids can be utilized, provided the vendors still honor the bid prices.

Before issuing a PO to the vendor to order, 1) please confirm the vendor will honor the bid pricing and 2) get “after-bid” Board approval to use and purchase from the bids.  Link to the sample 11/3/23 After-Bid Board Resolution
