Do You Need to Recycle Electronics? e-Waste, LLC can help you.

About e-Waste, LLC

e-Waste, LLC, is an end-of-life technology solutions provider and has recently been awarded a two year contract by the Ohio Schools Council. E-Waste will provide an inventory of all assets, data eradication and recycling services on the retired electronic assets for OSC members.

e-Waste does not charge for recycling these materials, with the exception of televisions, which will have a $10.00 charge. In addition, each school district will receive a 20% rebate on all proceeds we receive on assets that have a useful life and can be remarketed for a new use.

With the push to integrate technology into the classroom, having an end of life technology recycling program in place is critical in abiding by all state and federal environmental laws. Additionally, it simplifies the logistical aspects of recycling for you and provides you the benefit of tracking your assets for financial accountability.

What this means to you:

  • Free pick-up at one or multiple locations within your school district. e-Waste will provide pallets and packaging materials, if necessary.
  • Logistics will ALL be handled by our in-house project manager. Link directly to e-Waste to send a request for pick-up. Project manager will call to confirm dates/location/size.
  • Data eradication to protect OSC members’ sensitive information from data breach.
  • Auditing of assets: each piece will be tested, tracked and consolidated into a final report. The report will include serial numbers, asset tag numbers and the date the equipment was decommissioned to satisfy Sarbanes-Oxley 404 asset disposition tracking clause. Additional information can be added on an individual basis.
  • Rebate back to individual OSC member customers of 20% of gross proceeds from assets that are sold for reuse or service parts.
